Forensic dentistry

Forensic dentistry, also known as forensic odontology, is the application of dental science to legal investigations, primarily for the identification of human remains and the analysis of bite marks in criminal cases. It combines both dental expertise and knowledge of legal procedures to provide critical evidence in the investigation and prosecution of crimes. Forensic dentistry is a highly specialized field that aids in the investigation and resolution of legal cases by providing scientific dental evidence that can support the identification of individuals or provide critical insights in criminal investigations.
